Anyone who becomes a threat to Satan’s grip will suffer persecution. Will suffer being misunderstood. Will suffer being labeled. You will be attributed things that you would never be likened to. Satan will always try to use intimidation to silence you. He wants to mold you into a domesticated, sterile version of a believer that only agrees with the things of Christ and Holy living which are not controversial, which are not offensive. He wants us to be so desensitized and so assimilated to His ways, that you no longer feel repulsed by every move. That’s how the secret-sensitive movement grew. We want everyone to come in and gather around a version of Jesus that accepts you just as a you are. We don’t want to preach about subjects which alienate people. I have found the opposite. The more you preach the whole counsel of scripture without softening the tough parts, the more people are drawn to the light.
Also, I must say. He loves you just as you are and he proved it at the cross, but he is 100% determined to not let you stay as you are but to become more like him every day. He is coming to your tree and looking for some fruit. If there is no fruit, you will be cast out with the open sinner.
